Child Endangerment Alerts pt.1

There seems to be a blog on a wordpress page called Child Endangerment Alerts. Now that is a great title if only what was being posted was true. Take for instance Plainwell resident Craig R. Williams. He is a respectable man has a great job and he is on this site. I have not been able to determine why. How did he end up on this bloggers hit list? I spoke to the man myself he does not know where they got his picture from he has no idea who it could be or why he was a target. I also spoke to the local sheriffs dept and they too have stated that this man has been clear of any wrong doing and passed 2 polygraph test. Mr. Williams has also stated that he has a defamation of character suite in process to have this removed, and to sue the author of the blog. It claims that he is a pedophile This is a direct quote from the blog "While formal charges have yet to be brought, and the case has not yet been docketed, it is the opinion of our researchers, based on the police report, the forensic interview of the victim, and the case compiled by the assistant prosecuting attorney, that this man should be considered a child endangerment threat and caution should be exercised in the Plainwell area for the protection of your children.  Williams should be viewed as a concern as a possible or probable pedophile until more information comes to light."  I have my suspicions as to who this person is, she of course adamantly denies that it is her. The blog owner hides behind anonymity and thinks that they are safe from the law. There have been 4 twitter shares of this blog as well as 1k+ shares on facebook. So tell me how does this site protect the public when it posts lies such as this. If this man has been cleared and NO charges where ever filed then explain to me why in the hell he is still on this page? Why has the blogger not done the responsible thing and remove the posting? Why do people like Kerri Lynn Newton of twitter re-post it
(@KeriLynnNewton)? This is what I mean about once it's out there you can do almost nothing to have it removed. Now an innocent man who is searched for on the internet has this awful story of lies pop up, I ask you is this even fair? I think not.

People today with an ax to grind use the internet as a way to attack the individual who has wronged them. They have no care that what they are posting can not be confirmed and backed up by facts. There is a reckless disregard for the truth these days. Then after they cry out their sob story for the whole word to see they get people who follow them and jump on what ever bandwagon they maybe on. Social media has been great in a lot of respects. It helps us to stay connected to out loved ones near and far. We can share our triumph and our sorrows. Yet it has also become a bad thing, now when you get mad at someone and think that they have wronged you in some way you can go to your facebook, your livejournal, your blogspot or what ever tool is at your disposal and you can trash them for all the world to see. You can post pictures of them with stupid little caption and even down right lie about them, hey it's your first amendment right after all. You can even go as far as to create a page about them, say a Judge that you feel gave you a raw deal in court, state how they are corrupt and need to be removed from the bench..A lover pisses you off her won't leave his wife for you so you can claim that they raped you or worse that your relationship started when you were just a child, that they are a pedophile. Once you put it out there it is harder then hell to get it removed. You can ask facebook or any of the other sites but it is at their discretion was remains and what gets removed. They give you very little options in which to report something that you find offensive and unwarranted in regards to how the post makes you feel. If your complaint does not meet there guild lines then the post about you remains for the whole world to see. and the person who posted it holds all the cards. They can block you, remove any and all your comment, there is nothing you can do. Sure you could hire a lawyer and sue the person for Libel or defamation of character if you have the extra twenty grand laying around. I have done some research and I will tell you the amount abusers of the 1st Amendment out there would make your head spin. There should be a way to remove libel, slander and defamation of character off of the internet with ease. If there is a posting by anther about you, you should be able to say I want this removed this is me and it's not true. I have started this blog because I am tired of the lies, and social media is not taking enough responsibility to help remove the garbage. It is time we stand up to them and say no more!!! If I want it removed because it pertains to me then fucking remove it no questions asked. People do not have the right to post whatever they want about another individual without evidence that it is in fact true. I will elaborate more with examples of lies out there. This is one thing I am going to keep fighting for. It is time to stop the haters who hate and show them they are not allowed to make up stories and post lies to their hearts content.
